"I would like to say THANK YOU for today's performance. It was super and the class really enjoyed it. Your staff of actors were wonderful in what they did...Thank them all from me and the students. If you are ever in this part of the world again, we would love to have you back. Good Luck with all you do in the future!"

- Cathy Chmielewski, Program Coordinator Westville Correctional Facility

InterAction Theater: What We Do

Since 1992, members of our interactive theater company have brought What If... programs to youths and adults at schools, prisons, churches and art centers. Subjects have included HIV/AIDS, relationship violence, substance abuse and diversity. Each program is different. We devise presentations that fit your social, educational and cultural needs. The end result is the same -- the creation of a circle of interaction and dialogue between audience members and actors. We also help others learn to use the tool of interactive theater through workshops and long-term learning sessions. Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed techniques provide us a luscious background of games that illuminate the psyche. Our major company members are conservatory trained in The Meisner Technique, which is also employed during workshops and in direction of our theatrical work.

InterAction Theater, Inc. is a federally designated not-for-profit organization operated for the public benefit. Contact us for more information and booking!
